Privacy Policy

Stimply ("we," "us") is a golf club app platform operated by Rangeland Digital in Westerose, Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use a Stimply-powered club app or this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect

Location is processed on your device
The on-course GPS feature reads your location on your phone only to show yardages to the green. Your location is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. GPS access is optional and controlled by your device's permission settings.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent personal information. Ever.
- We do not show third-party advertising or use advertising trackers.
- We only use cookies that are essential for signing you in and operating the app.
Leaderboard visibility
You control how your name appears on club leaderboards: full name, initials only, or hidden entirely. Change this any time in your Players Club settings. Scores you post are visible to your club's staff for score-verification purposes.
Marketing email
We only send club news and offers if you expressly opt in, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change your preference in your profile.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service, under their own safeguard obligations:
- Railway — application and database hosting
- Resend — transactional email (password resets, notifications you request)
- Expo — push notification delivery for the mobile app
- Tee-On — tee-time booking, only when you search or book a tee time
Some providers store data on servers in the United States. Where personal information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction; we choose providers with appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
Your club
Stimply-powered apps are operated for individual golf clubs. Your club's administrators can see member information relevant to running their club — such as membership details, posted scores, and score-review flags. Clubs may not export or use member data for purposes outside operating their club program.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated personal data yourself in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us from your account address. Deleted data is removed from active systems promptly and from backups within 30 days.
Children
Junior golfers may use club features with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who can contact us at any time to review or delete a minor's information.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app.
